Senior Thesis: Domestic Violence Shelter

The concept of this domestic violence shelter was "home town", to indicate familiarity and comfort to its users. The space utilizes colors and textures that are suited for women with children, and has many unique "neighborhoods" to the community. The neighborhoods included areas for eating, socializing, shopping/community donations laundry, communal restrooms, counseling facitlities and daycare.

The floorplans, perspectives and elevations were created in AutoCAD, and then transferred to canvas. They were then rendered in watercolor to match the feel of the space.

This project also contained a design/build furniture component of a wooden wardrobe.
